It is a subsidiary of the Hakimsons Group, which has been in business since 1921 and specializes in the production of essential pharmaceuticals. In 1965, the Takeda Pharmaceutical Company of Japan and its American competitor, Pfizer, formed a technical collaboration to construct a pharmaceutical factory of world-class quality. Over the past century, the organizations members have seen numerous political and economic shifts, witnessed groundbreaking advances in medical science, and experienced dramatic shifts in the rules and regulations that primarily govern the pharmaceutical industry.
